My Opinion on Online Dating Apps

All of my previous relationships were formed from an online source. I remember when my first boyfriend and I got together that so many people frowned upon us due to the fact that we met through a social networking site called MySpace...(Remember that). Now a days there are so many people hooking up and meeting up for various different reasons and there are so many apps out there that make online dating easier such as Grindr, POF, Jack'd, Hornet, Adam4Adam, and many others. In my opinion these apps and services are a double edge sword. On one hand it makes meeting people easier that you may have otherwise never met or had enough courage to approach in real life but on the other hand it makes it so easy for people to cheat. It is like a dating app becomes like a candy store where people get tired of their old piece of candy and go searching for a new one and their are so many to choose from. So in a way I think it can damage the value of meeting someone and having a full healthy commitment but at the same time the opportunity would still arise for someone to cheat if they so choose with or without a app so honestly you can't blame the app entirely. These apps definitely help bring the real motive as to what people want to light. So many people put looking for a healthy relationship and when in reality they wanna just screw around. So in my opinion one must tread lightly and protect your heart whenever searching through online dating sites and don't spend all your time looking through them and look at what might be standing in front of you.
